OVERVIEW: Vetiver root has been utilized for its fragrance for many years. It has been used to scent fabric and is woven into baskets, mats, and window coverings.
BLENDS WELL WITH: Bergamot, black pepper, cedarwood, clary sage, geranium, ginger, grapefruit, jasmine, lavender, lemon, lemongrass, litsea cubeba, mandarin, oakmoss, opopanax, orange, patchouli, rose, sandalwood, ylang ylang
HERBAL MISCELLANY: Vetiver is also used for erosion control. The roots of most grasses grow horizontally, but the vetiver root grows downward making it a good stabilizing plant for wet areas.
